Mr. Glenn A. Miller, Chairman, has over 40 years of experience in the financial and real estate sector including the founding of three financial institutions. Within this framework he has provided asset management to pension funds and institutional investors in all forms of real estate development. His background includes serving as a Director of a number of Canadian companies, both public and private. Mr. Miller has a Bachelor of Science degree and is an MBA graduate from the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario.
President & CEO
Mr. David V. Johnston, President & Chief Executive Officer of PenEquity, has over 35 years of real estate industry acquisition/disposition, financial structuring and administration experience, including retail, office, industrial and residential developments. Mr. Johnston has provided asset management to pension funds and institutional investors in all forms of real estate development. He obtained his Chartered Accountant designation with Price Waterhouse and has a Bachelor of Commerce from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario.
Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Leger Xavier, has over 25 years of experience managing and actively implementing strategies to maximize value within a diverse real estate portfolio of food anchored, entertainment and mixed-use urban developments. Mr. Xavier has previously served as Board Member, Treasurer and Chair of the Downtown Yonge Business Improvement Area. Mr. Xavier is a graduate from the University of Western Ontario with an Honors Degree in Urban Development.
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. David Canham, Chief Financial Officer brings more than 20 years of experience in real estate accounting and finance to the team. His background includes reporting for both income-producing properties and properties in development. This is supplemented with strong corporate reporting for both private enterprises and public entities. Recent experience includes reporting for a newly formed REIT on the TSX and reporting for a development portfolio owned by a joint venture with a major pension fund partner. Prior to that Mr. Canham was involved in acquisitions and finance for a private real estate company. He is a Certified Management Accountant.
Ms. Adriana Fritsch, Director Leasing, has in excess of 20 years Real Estate experience with the last 10 years focused on commercial leasing. Ms. Fritsch’s passion for real estate has given rise to work experience in commercial leasing and development of commercial, residential and mixed- use properties in Canada and Latin America. Ms. Fritsch’s Architecture, Urban Planning and MBA degrees contribute to her technical and financial results driven approach by targeting the right tenancy mix and increasing value of the asset. Ms. Fritsch is a member and volunteer of Toronto CREW and a member of ICSC.
Ms. Jane Harrigan, Office & Human Resource Manager, brings over 25 years of experience in Human Resources staring her career in this field with 2 major downtown Toronto Law Firms.
