Leger Xavier leads PenEquity’s integrated development and management platform. Over twenty-five years across food-anchored retail, entertainment, and mixed-use urban development, he has set the strategic direction for the firm’s Ontario portfolio — from acquisition and entitlements through long-term asset operation.
He has served as Board Member, Treasurer, and Chair of the Downtown Yonge Business Improvement Area, bringing institutional perspective to urban retail through both ownership and civic leadership roles.

Eunice Smith, CPA
Eunice Smith oversees leasing across PenEquity’s operating and development portfolio. Before joining the firm, she led real estate strategy for Canadian Tire Corporation, where she was responsible for the expansion of more than five hundred locations — and played a central role in the growth of several rapidly expanding restaurant franchise platforms.
Her background brings a retailer’s perspective to every leasing decision: how tenants actually evaluate sites, how formats evolve, and how anchor relationships are earned rather than assumed.

Arthur Lung, CPA
Arthur Lung leads PenEquity’s accounting team and oversees the financial health of the firm’s development and management platforms. He joined PenEquity from Crown Capital Partners Inc., where he served as Assistant Controller for a publicly listed entity, bringing the reporting discipline that institutional capital partners require.
Before his industry roles, he trained in public accounting at PricewaterhouseCoopers — foundational experience that shapes the reporting standard applied to every mandate PenEquity manages today.

Harinder Brar, RPA
Harinder Brar leads property management across PenEquity’s platform. Fifteen-plus years operating retail, office, and industrial assets — from single-building mandates to multi-property portfolios — inform the operational discipline he applies to every property under our management.
His focus is tenant relationships and operational execution at the asset level: the daily details that determine whether occupancy holds, whether tenants renew, and whether a building performs the way it was designed to perform.

Colm Sharkey
Colm Sharkey leads construction across PenEquity’s development and redevelopment projects. His twenty-plus-year career spans Ireland and Canada — most recently eight years as Senior Director of Construction at Trinity Development Group in Toronto, where he managed major tenant fit-ups, large-format retail delivery, and mixed-use developments in Toronto, Ottawa, and Calgary.
At PenEquity, he leads a multidisciplinary team responsible for the construction of commercial, retail, residential, industrial, and entertainment projects — bringing the execution standard that developer-owners require when the buildings will be held for decades.
