At 1.3 million square feet across three phases, Kanata Centrum is one of the largest retail and entertainment destinations PenEquity has ever delivered. Designed as a regional anchor for Ottawa’s fastest-growing suburb, the project has served as a model for integrated power-centre development in Canada; combining big-box retail, cinema, hospitality, and dining on a single connected site.

Delivering a development of this scale in the heart of downtown Toronto required navigating exceptional site constraints, multi-tenant coordination, and urban design standards at a level few retail developers in the country have matched.
